Community Exercise Class Update 24/01/2025

Thank you for being a valuable member of our Community Exercise Class in 2024. We are looking forward to getting started again and are excited to announce some positive changes for 2025.

1. The class will re-start at 12pm,  Wednesday 29/01/2025 @ Revesby Community Centre

2. In 2025, we will now be running our Community Exercise Class weekly!

3. Revesby Community Centre will be closed for 5 weeks from 05/02/25 for renovations (The good news is that the council will be installing Air Conditioning at Revesby during this time).

For those 5 weeks we have been able to continue our booking at Padstow Senior Citizen’s Centre (17 Cahors Road, Padstow – https://g.co/kgs/2jbCbqm)

4. Payments

Unfortunately, the class will no longer be free but we hope you will still be able to join us. This difficult decision was made to help us ensure the class can continue to be sustainable and help us improve the quality of the sessions.

The cost of the sessions will be:

$7 per session – Pay as you go

or

$50 for a 10 session pass (save $20)

– You will not need to pay until after your first class, the new sign in sheet will ask for your prefered method and we will send you our payment details if you choose to use the pass.

– We prefer bank transfer and can provide an invoice & receipt for your payment

– We can accept exact cash in an envelope or zip lock on the day which will be processed later at the clinic, please ensure it is clearly labelled.

5. Bookings are still essential

Please keep in touch if you are unable to attend a session. Our SMS reminder will ask you to confirm your attendance. Booking in helps us ensure the class is not over-filled and helps us plan the exercise stations for each session.

6. We welcome you to invite your friends and family to join you at the class. Your friends and family will get a free trial session when attending with you. Please let us know if you are planning to bring someone so we can account for them.

7. Lastly, if you would like to attend but are unable to affort the costs, please contact me and I will work out a suitable arrangement. At the end of the day we love serving the community and helping provide affordable access to exercise!
